The 5-star resort was a combined effort from Neilson Properties and Pointcorp Group. Two development groups merging for a project is uncommon, however the Managing director of Neilson Group ‘Ross Neilson’, seems to think it only makes sense. Mr Neilson said in a recent interview “otherwise there would have been four or five sperate towers not really related to each other, whilst our [scheme] has fully-integrated ground plane which leads to much better community design outcomes”.
The developers show their deep pockets as the project will cost $350 million. The towers will be the first 5-star hotel in burleigh and is predicted to bring invested from all over the country & the World. If you’re a local who is worried about the amount of public parking that will be available after the project, fear no more. The towers will comprise of 162 public paid car parks, increasing the car park availability in Burleigh by 24%! Lastly, during these tough times (Post COVID-19), The development will produce 248 full-time staff to handle the hotel operations.
